Kabhi Khushi Kabbie Gham
Kabhi khushi kabbie gham is about children who live without home and the support of their family. Fotographs were taken in different institutions like orphanages, temples and prison. One thing in common with all the kids photographed was that they were victims of the arbitrary behaviour of adults.
Exhibition consists of five gigantic children’s collecting pictures. Works have childish enchantment, lace-like sensitivity and the shine of luster. The exhibition takes place in wide space where pictures float in the air. One essential part of the exhibition is the United Nations’ declaration of the children’s rights that are proyected to the floor. The seria of works express the positive power of children.
