In January, I decided it was time to make a new photography exhibition. Too much time had passed since my previous one, and the bar I had set for myself had become impossibly high. So I photographed in India.

When I returned home, I discovered that I had accidentally shot the entire series at a resolution far too low for exhibition prints. For a moment I considered posting an announcement:

Fortunately, the pandemic changed everyone’s plans, including mine. Instead of a gallery exhibition, I decided to create a small exhibition online.

On the Streets of Ahmedabad is a collection of photographs from everyday life in one of India’s most vibrant cities. It is an exhibition about encounters, streets, people and the small moments that often pass unnoticed.
